I'm hoping I can add the pictures that have been sent to me by Marg O'Neill of four of my blackwork designs that have been stitched on 16 count and the french knots replaced with small black and blue beads. I think they look stunning and not least with the way they been framed. You can find all of these and more of my Blackwork designs at this link: ...

This week shows three pictures of my designs that stitchers have sent me over the past week; the link for them was my daily picture inserts that I add to my Face Book page. In fact I'm doing well this week for pictures as I have already shown two more: Margaret Kirkwood's Version of 088 Waterlily and dargonfly and Kath Bower's 106 Vintage Charm which you can see https://www.facebook.com/Lesley-Teare-308823195962626/
Mega Nauli sent me the LJT005 Toile...

Yes, Tilly is one today. She is a lovely companion and a real pleasure for both David and me to have around. Her dog training hasn't quite gone to plan because of the extreme heat so her lessons with Paul have had to be cancelled, but she seems to be doing well....most of the time.
Not much different on the designing front this past week, but just busy with a few commissions. My floral SAL will shortly be ready for the...

My new Sunbonnet Sue design for August is ready to download and I will pop this on my Blog as a separate item for you all to download.
I have charted these small designs for Atie, who made a mistake when stitching the border for my Sunbonnet Sue's. You might like to print off one these small designs as it would be ideal for a simple and pretty card. You will though, need to have the KEY from the Sunbonnet Sue...

I decided to have some time off with David and Tilly this past week - not doing very much except for enjoying the sunshine and watering the plants. Tilly hasn't been for an afternoon walk for weeks because of the heat, but playing ball in our large garden, where we can keep an eye on how much she does, keeps her very contented. It will be different once the weather changes.
I had a lovely phone call yesterday from our nearly...

It was lovely getting pictures of my Hydrangea design sent to me by Anita Redina Hendro last week. Stitched on such pretty fabric and it's interesting to see how a design can be altered and influenced by a choice of fabric. The bottom picture shows the original one on traditional white, but I think Anita's choice makes the design really special. Hope you all saw the free floral picture of an Iris I published last friday. The Floral SAL is...

Hi everyone, hope the past week has been a good one. I have just added another LJT Tea pot design to the 'collection' - 'Garden Days', the third one, and I still hope to work on a fourth. The other two have also been altered to make sure they work well as a group. Find them under the 'Decorative' section on my Shop page. Hope you like them.
Also, I hope you will notice that my previous Blog note is...

Keep your home feeling sunny all year long by stitching the rolling hills and bobbing sunflowers of this landscape. It is very apt at the moment for us in Britain with the wonderful sunny weather we have all been having. This is my latest design for Cross Stitch CRAZY magazine, issue 245, which will be in the shops on the 8th July. Apart from a few random backstitches on the far hill it is created with all whole stitches, making...

Hi everyone, I have added two new large floral designs this week to my growing! selection - this time Anemones and a Lily. All these designs use only whole cross stitches, although a couple do include French knots plus a couple of backstitches if there are insects for the detail. Do remember that this Sunday is the 1st July, so Sunbonnet Sue time! Enjoy your week. x

Just trying to do catch - up this week. I think because the weather has been so good, I got somewhat waylaid in the garden so work got a bit behind! Deadlines today, but thankfully made it for GOLD, so everyone is happy.
I transferred another large floral to my new section this week - a mauve rhododendron - which I think is lovely, especially the colours. And, in this month's issue of GOLD Cross Stitch magazine you can find four...

I was delighted yesterday when this picture arrived of one of my floral designs from a stitcher in Hong Kong. So beautifully stitched by 'T' and I love her choice of fabric. Thank you for sending it in 'T' - much appreciated. Quite apt, as the June motif for our LJT Floral sampler SAL is out this Friday. As you can see this time it will be the colourful poppy. Hope everyone is getting on well with it all.

Another week gone by, but here in the UK, especially where I live in Suffolk, the weather has been beautiful and sun is forcast for all of today. The landscape certainly looks like Summer with the darker greens on the trees and the vibrant red poppies that can now be seen in the hedgerows and fields.
For those of you that don't look at my FB page, I just wanted to add a picture of my Angel design that a stitcher...

I have decided to make a few changes to my Shop page, or at least Rachel Watson, my website designer will soon. A couple of sections will be removed. One is the needlepoint designs, as there doesn't appear to be enough interest in this style of needlework. This will be replaced with my Blackwork and cross stitch pictures that are so popular and I think they deserve a section on their own.
The other, is to select a group of Large...

I know, but that word has to be said occasionally....you may not wish to start stitching for Christmas quite this soon but I hope you will still like to see these four jolly snowmen that I have added to my shop today......and they will still be here when you are ready to start.
Hope, like us, you enjoyed seeing our Royal wedding last weekend. I just love to see the colour and pageantry on the screen. It must have been wonderful...

A little late updating my Wednesday Blog. My computer seemed to take ages downloading and updating the files this morning......
A picture of our Labrador, Tilly, who is now 9 months old...plus a week! As you can see she is nearly fully grown, just the filling out bits I think now. Considering she is classified as a teenager and supposed to be pushing the boundaries, overall she is quite good.
The other picture, which I have added to my FB page just...

Yet another sunny day here in Suffolk. David and I have certainly had glorous weather here this weekend to enable us to do 'catch - up' in the garden, although we are still a couple of months away from seeing glorious poppies like these.
Floral designs are a lovely way to add year - round colour to your home, and you can't get more colourful than these beautiful red poppies which can be found in the latest edition of GOLD Cross...

Hope you are enjoying the latest Sunbonnet Sue design for May which I posted on the 1st.
I am so pleased to say that I have another blackwork design to add to my collection. This time a glorious kingfisher, set amidst bullrushes, iris and waterside flowers and of course, not forgetting, a beautiful Swallowtail butterfly. I am delighted with this design and I hope many of you will also enjoy stitching it.
You will find this kingfisher design under 'Decorative' on my...

What a glorious few days we have had in the UK which has enabled David and me to do some catch up in the garden. It's quite amazing how a bit of warmth makes everything grow twice as fast!
The new addition to our Royal family was good news this week and for those of you who have new babies to look forward to then here are two ideas for decorative samplers for both a boy or girl that are just...
