It's hard to believe that we are going to start another project. Exciting, but I just wonder where all the other weeks went to!
This time a medley of 8 Summer flowers and a pretty bird house. The flowers are a carnation, strawberry flower and fruit, briar rose, iris, pansy, potentilla - crept in here as its shape was what I wanted! - blackberry and its flower and then finally a Summer clematis. There is some artistic licence with a couple but overall I think it works as a pretty group. There are a few fractionals on the bird and French knots as well, but you could change these to petite beads if wished.
Today, I am giving you the chart for the border and the Key, so that you can gather the threads you will need for next week's start on the first carnation flower. I have altered the colour of the border, but if preferred, then please use the same colours from the previous Floral sampler as the greens are the same as before except for the addition of 3819 - a lime green - which I have used here. Many of the colours remain the same for this design so not too much hassle for you.
Pictures from my last sampler were a delight for all of us to see, so please do keep them coming in on this new project.
